IRender nXt

There is no doubt that IRender nXt will make your SketchUp models look better in client presentations. With IRender nXt, you can create high-quality architectural renderings directly from SketchUp models which can be added to your client presentations and proposals as an added element of professionalism.

About the new Version 7.0

There are new features in version 7.0 of IRender nXt for Trimble SketchUp from Render Plus systems.

In terms of rendering high-resolution images in SketchUp, IRender nXt is a powerful plugin that works perfectly inside the program. There is no doubt that IRender nXt is fully-integrated with Sketch Up materials, lighting, and components, which allows you to create interior/exterior scenes in daytime or nighttime depending on the lighting conditions.

By providing light sources, reflective properties, transparency, and refraction, along with a range of other rendering functions, IRender nXt 7.0 lets designers easily create render-ready SketchUp models and quickly refine rendering settings by incorporating light sources, reflective properties, transparency, refraction, and more.

There are many improvements made in version 7.0 that focus on easier-to-use controls for rendering settings which improve the workflow of rendering. As a result of the development of IRender nXt 7.0, you will be able to produce great renderings faster than ever before.

List of some useful features added

Lighting Effect:

With the new Preset Light Profiles available in SketchUp or you can search the Internet for IES files produced by manufacturers, you can achieve more realistic lighting by choosing a profile that matches the fixture you are adding to your SketchUp model that matches the lighting profile that was created by the manufacturer.

Different and Unique styles:

In a new construction project, renovation project, or remodeling project, Material Styles make it easy to study and present design alternatives to clients to explore.

As a result of this feature, architects and interior designers will be able to evaluate design decisions in more detail when using SketchUp models in conjunction with these tools.

How to do?

Open the SketchUp model in order to assign the materials, and then save the style by naming it appropriately.

The more styles you create and save the better chances you have of exploring, preserving, and recalling the design alternatives you may have for the project.

Advance reflection:

There is a new Auto Reflection feature included in the new version 7.0 of IRender nXt. Depending on the word matches in the material names, you can adjust the intensity and sharpness of reflections.

You could, for instance, set all materials containing the word metal to reflective in the material properties list.

2D Plants JPG can be rendered now:

In TreeMaker 7, a new feature has been added that makes it possible to render all or some of the plants as simple 2D images. On the Setup Options – Plants tab, there is a new button that allows you to set up the plants in 2D or 3D format depending on what is preferred by the developer. It will be possible to set each individual plant by right-clicking on it and selecting Edit Plant from the menu.

When rendering fractal plants in SketchUp, the rendering time can be considerably longer compared to rendering 2D images.

HDR Preset:

The HDRi Sky preset loads Bear Mountain, an HDRi background and sky, and modifies other parameters to reveal the sky.

In the past, HDRi Skies may be used for lighting, but the new Lighting Preset makes it simple to set one up with only one click. You may quickly choose a different sky using the HDRi tab after choosing this preset.

Rendering with a rotated view features:

You can change the view and zoom after rendering with the View Rotate rendering toolbar button, and you can re-render without having to change the view in SketchUp, re-extract, and re-render the model.

The original SketchUp model is displayed with its original SketchUp colors and textures while switching views. Change the view as needed, then re-render.

Additional Other features

  • To make repeating texture pictures easier to develop, a Make Tileable tool has been added to the Material Texture dialogue.
  • To allow lighting channel changes without automatically adjusting scene brightness, Automatic Luminance has been locked.
  • Lighting Channels now include a checkbox that can be used to rapidly toggle them on and off without wiping out the slider settings.
  • Enhanced slider bar for HDRi rotations to display picture changes.
  • Addition of the check box for Automatically incorporating all Lighting Channels.
  • For mobility, the option to save Background photos in the SketchUp model was included. On the Options or Background tab, you may turn on this option.
  • Added a few additional search pathways to help users locate the RPC Content manager.
  • Codec options for animations are added for better design and smooth rendering.
  • Fixed Animations to be able to use the same Average Luminance that is shown on the Lighting Channels dialog when viewed from the Render Window.
  • Added a check box to the More options tab to set Low Priority for the rendering process.
